Savvy Member of the Month has been created to reward our Members, YOU, for your dedication to leading an active, healthy lifestyle.

These people have displayed outstanding commitment and consistency in their training.

They push themselves to their limits, at times having to step out of their comfort zones. They encourage and support others and role model positive behaviours and attitudes.

Each person is awarded The Savvy Star of the Month based on their own individual merits & each month we will be acknowledging and rewarding one of you who has really made a difference in your own life and in the lives of those around you.  

This is a fantastic achievement and the winner of each month will receive the following prizes:

Savvy Consultation & Personal Training Session, Illawarra Sports Therapy Massage Voucher, Breakfast Voucher, Fruit Basket, Savvy Socks and Savvy Backpack & Water Bottle.

Shane King - March 2013

Since joining Savvy Shane has never looked back. His improvements in fitness and health are outstanding and only due to his uncompromising commitment and consistency with his training.

Linda Vugrek - February 2013

With this being the year of results, we have kicked it all off with a massive start - and Linda Vugrek has fully optimised what can be achieved with committment, consistency, making the required changes and having fun along the way.

David and Pat Thomson - January 2013

Pat and Dave Thomson have fully embraced their new and improved lifestyle of health & fitness through their Savvy program. Pat and Dave train twice a week in a partner PT session being coached by Joey and Anthea.

They have made some great progress with their health throughout this time. Recently they participated in their very first SURVIVOR stepping out of their comfort zones and setting a great example for others. Both have improved in their posture, flexibility & cardio endurance as well as being pro with the TRX. Joey and Anthea love training with these two especially the fun, laughter and the treats Pat bakes them.

Chiara Smith - November 2012

Chiara is an absolute pleasure to train with. Ever since starting Savvy her commitment and consistency has been outstanding and of late she has improved on this even further, setting real goals and working to a plan to achieve them successfully. Chiara is always punctual to class and makes the most of every session. She works with intensity and manages to have a lot of fun at the same time. It is members like Chiara Smith that contribute immensley to the Savvy culture and it's positive community. Well done Chiara!

Jennell Imber - October 2012

Nellie has been training with Savvy for over a year now and has made a definite impact to the group. Her friendly, carefree nature has led to her forming many friendships with other members.

Josh Bolin - September 2012

Josh has been an absolute athlete over the past year. Josh's fitness has improved out of sight, this year alone he has tackled half marathons, tough mudder, triathlon and numerous other events. Josh is a Savvy role model participating in personal training and group fitness sessions around his shift work as a fireman. Josh's training is consistent and physically noticeable, he is a true asset to the Savvy crew and thoroughly deserving of the member of the month title.

Rosie King - August 2012

Rosie has been one of our most consistent and driven members this year. Rosie set herself 3 specific goals at the beginning of the year and with hard work and persistance not only achieved those goals but succeeded way beyond her expectations and now has a half marathon in sight.

Rosie is always a pleasure to train with, witty and willing to take on anything that is thrown her way.

Rosie is thoroughly deserving of this award, a role model to others and an asset to Savvy Fitness!

Phil Murray - July 2012

Phil Murray is one of the most amazing 61 year olds around. Phil will tackle anything that is thrown at him. His fitness and ability is inspiring as he can punch out more push ups than any 20 year old, he can hold the plank for a record time and trains at 100% intensity, 100% of the time.

Sue McAnulty - June 2012

Sue is a long time member of Savvy and an absolute treasure. Recently she committed to the 12 week RUN program she was able to run 10kms with ease and swipe 17mins off her best time and did not miss a week of training. Sue makes an effort to instill health & fitness into her own work environment inspiring colleagues to get active and live healthier, happier lives.
